GroPAL™ Suggested Application Guide

The following guidelines are given to help get you started with GroPAL™.  As you gain experience, you may need to adjust the rate of application and number of applications, depending on plant size, climate conditions, soil type, crop type and desired results.

Important Guideline: suggestions on how much "Total Tank Mix" should be used per acre FOR FOLIAR APPLICATIONS?

Before discussing how much product to use per acre, you must first decide how much total tank mix you should use per acre.  In other words, when you add the items you will spray together with your water, how much total mix do you need to properly cover an acre.  We want the spray to wet the leaves, but to have minimal liquid reach the ground.  How much liquid does it take to do this?
  • Trees   Apply a sea mineral / water mix of between 50 Gallons. per acre up to 200 Gallons per acre or more to properly coat the leaves.  A fine spray is preferable.  Small trees may require less.
  • Row crops, vegetables and berries     Apply a sea mineral / mix of between 10 and 20 Gallons per acre, more may be required, depending on how fine the spray is, and how large the plant is.
  • Sod, Pasture, and Hay     Apply a sea mineral / water mix of Between 10 to 20 Gallons per acre, depending on the length of the grass and how fine the spray is.

GroPAL™ Suggested Foliar Application Rates

  • Fruit & Nut Trees

A standard application is ½ a Gallon per acre, putting on up to 4 applications in a season.

If only one application will be made, 4 lt. per acre is standard for grown trees.  For young trees, ¼   to ½ gallon per acre is suitable, depending on the size of the tree. Dependent on nutrient level of soil or desired results a further one to two applications can be made during the growing cycle.

  • Vegetables

If only a single application will be made, ½ to 1 gallon per acre is recommended.

If two applications are desired apply ¼ to ½ a gallon per acre, per application.  Dependent on nutrient level of soil or desired results a further one to two applications can be made during the growing cycle.

  • Berries

Apply 1/16th to ¼ of a gallon. per acre, per application.

  • Row Crop

¼ to 1 gallon per acre, application rate is dependent on desired results.

For higher dollar crops, consider two applications of ½ a gallon per acre.  Dependent on nutrient level of soil or desired results a further one to two applications can be made during growing cycle.

Note: For best results try applying a lower amount.  You can make additional applications if required.

  • Sod, Pasture & Hay

1/8th to ½ gallon per acre.  For hay, consider an application after green up, and after each cutting.  For sod and heavily grazed pasture, consider 2 to 4 applications a year, depending on length of growing season, etc. Dependent on nutrient level of soil or desired results a further one to two applications can be made during growing cycle.

Suggestions for Timing of applications

When are other fertility applications recommended for the crop?  Begin there.

Suggested Drip line applications

Apply from 1/2 to 4 gallons of GroPAL™ per year through drip lines.  Dilute with a minimum of 20 parts of water to 1 part of GroPAL™.   Higher dilution rates will not affect the effectiveness of GroPAL™.

Suggestions for applying through an irrigation system

  • Flood irrigation systems
Apply 1 to 4 gallons per acre per year.
  • Sprinkler irrigation systems
Start with double the foliar rate, but consider further applications if desired, since there will be substantial run off.
